I got my doctorate in Sciences at University of Granada in 2007 and I am professor of Petrology at this university since 2009. My research activities are concerned with mineralogy, petrology and geochemistry of acid, mafic and ultramafic rocks. My research interested fields concern to metamorphism of basic and ultrabasic rocks in convergent plate margins, fluids interaction in subduction zones, subduction initiation processes, specially in the northern Caribbean realm
